Originally from Athens, Greece, Alex is a London-based writer/director. His latest short film, "The T3st," was funded by the Greek Film Center and The National Greek Broadcaster ERT and premiered at the BAFTA & BIFA qualifying BOLTON Film Festival 2024. It stars Matthew Stagg ("Marrowbone" and "Macbeth") and Killian Coyle ("Normal People" and "Call the Midwife").

Alex made his TV comedy debut with "Luv’s Story," starring Niki Vakali (known for "Worlds Apart"). He is recently completed his debut feature film "CAFE 404", which stars Dimitri Gripari ("Dangerous Liaisons"), Maria Nafpliotou, and Antonis Tsiotsiopoulos ("Magnetic Fields").

In addition to his debut feature, he is developing two TV series: "Ben and The End," a dark comedy about Charon, the mythical Greek ferryman, trying to keep suicidal Ben alive, which has been optioned by Envision Entertainment's David Barron ("Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows") and Michael Nakan; and "Antiparos," a whodunit murder mystery series based on the novel "Crimes in Antiparos" by Nikos Faroupos.

In recent years, Alex has been mentored by Fred Fuchs (known for "The Godfather Part III" and "Dracula"). He is the recipient of the 1st National Prize of the Nespresso Talents at the Cannes Film Festival. Alex also recently directed "The Cellist," an advertisement for McDonald’s, Porsche Awards, 2022.
